The president of Globalcaja, Mariano León, has presented the Social Work award to the Military Emergency Unit; while the general director, Pedro Palacios, participated in the recognition of the winemaker Federico Lucendo
globalbox has offered its recognition to the eleven companies, and the professionals and institutions, awarded in the now traditional gala of Business Merit Awards from the Federation of Entrepreneurs of Ciudad Real (FECIR), an act that helps project the initiatives that contribute to the progress of our land.
President of globalbox, Mariano Leon, has been in charge of presenting the award for Social and Assistance Work, a recognition sponsored by the Globalcaja Foundation and that on this occasion FECIR has granted to the Military Emergency Unit (UME), a service of the Spanish Armed Forces created in 2005 and which has demonstrated its effective intervention in disasters.
Meanwhile, the general director of Globalcaja, Peter Palaces, awarded the prize in the category of Promotion and Business Growth, who received Federico Lucendo, member of a family saga dedicated to oenology and the creation of widely recognized wines. In fact, one of the latest creations from Selección Lucendo has been positioned as the best wine in Spain for sommelier Andreas Larsson.
FECIR, an entity chaired by Carlos Marín, has also recognized with the Business Merit Awards of this edition to the businesswoman from Bolaños de Calatrava, Carmen Horneros; to the cheese factory Eyes of Guadiana; to the businessman Ramón Fernández (KIA Ferma-mobile) and Vicente Turrillo, from Electronica Turrillo, as well as the family business Dayfor doors, by Daimiel; to Transport Eugenio Ortiz, from Puertollano, already Orlando Furniture, commercial establishment in Ciudad Real.
Involvement globalbox in this Business Merit Awards Gala is part of the close collaboration between FECIR and globalbox, since both entities pursue the same objective, which is the economic development and social progress of our territory, hence the joint work to support and strengthen the business fabric of the province of Ciudad Real.
