An anniversary that took advantage to improve its corporative image. Luis Miguel Pradas Gómez is the manager and the person in charge of sales of equipment of this company, and here he explains the work that they do.
QUESTION: For people who don’t know you. What is Pradas Sucesores Ltd and what does it do?
ANSWER: “We are a company which is in Almansa (Albacete) in the South East of ‘La Mancha’, one of the most important zones in Spain which makes shoes with high quality. Pradas Sucesores has been to the service of the shoe industry since 1967, so more than 50 years of professional experience, offering the best machinery in the market, all the types of spare parts for them. We have also a large number of consumables in permanent stock with a high quality-price. In the other hand, we are a famous company specialised in machinery to produce Goodyear Welted. We provide it a global service of advice, training, sales, maintenance, repair and reconstruction. We have a specific department which offers any solution for the shoemaking Goodyear Welted”.
Q.: What countries is Pradas Sucesores in?
A.: “Approximately, 15% of the anual sales are destinated to worldwide exportation, increasing this percentage thanks to our wide professional career and our desire of satisfying the demand of our clients. This places us as leaders in the sector”.
Q.: In your sector, improving constantly and innovating are important. Have you recently invested?
A.: “In these times which are constantly changing, we don’t stop adapting our production and sales to our clients’ demands, making exclusive equipment. As an example, we have launched the Goodyear ironing machine, the only one in the market”.
Q.: We consider that 2017 has been a special year for you since you celebrated the 50th anniversary.
A.: “We have recently celebrated our 50th anniversary to the service of the footwear industry, one event that we wanted to celebrate doing different actions related to advertisement and marketing, letting people know us in social networks (Facebook) with a corporative video in Spanish and English, changing the logo, as well as different celebrations with clients and employees. 2017 has been a very special and important year for the company”.
Q.: Why do you think your company is successful in being competitive in the market?
A.: “We have offered a complete range of products and an exacting service for our clients for 5 decades in the shoemaking market, providing the best technical service, highly qualified, combining speed, quality and guarantee to get the máximum efficiency in the clients’ production. In turn, we have been able to deal with any necessity in the market, doing personalised studies and advice about machinery and the most suitable spare parts for every situation and being able to develop projects of installation in every part of the world for any making system”.
Q.: You are member of Albacete Association of Importers and Exporters ADIEX. How do you see the work done from the association?
A.: “It’s interesting the job that this association does by providing advice, help with the growth of our corporative image internationally, improvement in our events, developing different training workshops and information for the people in charge of the company”.
